Resources & Tools
Private Pilot Syllabus
Upon starting training with me, you will receive a copy of my custom Private Pilot syllabus—designed to build high-quality, real-world pilots.
The Private Pilot License is the foundation of everything you’ll do in aviation. How you’re trained here will shape how you fly for the rest of your career.
This syllabus provides a clear, structured path from your first lesson to your checkride. You’ll always know what you’re working on, what’s coming next, and how each lesson builds toward your end goal.
What makes this training different is its focus on practical, efficient flying. Instead of spending most lessons repeating maneuvers in a local practice area and never leaving your home airport, this syllabus is built around purpose-driven flights, real cross-country experience, and consistent progression.
The result is a more efficient training process—and a pilot who is confident, capable, and prepared for real-world flying.
Scheduling
I use a simple—but very unique—scheduling system that puts YOU in the PIC seat. You have complete control over your training schedule. You decide when and how often you fly—no flight dispatchers, no back-and-forth texts with a school—just direct access to me and the airplane whenever you’re ready to go.
Booking is done through Google Calendar appointments, and it’s super straightforward. You can see my availability and lock in a training block in under a minute. Just remember: the calendar shows my availability. It’s your responsibility to check the aircraft and the weather to make sure everything lines up. If I’m free, the plane is ready, and the weather’s good, you can fly as much as you want. This allows you and I to easily coordinate our schedules without having to go back and forth over text or call.
Upon beginning training with me you will get access to my booking link and I will teach you how to check the weather and aircraft availability.
